Altor is a planning and decision-support tool. The figures it shows — pasture cover, growth, feed wedge, residuals, break allocations, grazing schedules and GPS guidance — are estimates calculated from the information you enter. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a substitute for your own on-farm observation or professional advice.
Altor does not provide agronomic, veterinary, animal-welfare, financial, or legal advice. All farm-management decisions remain solely your responsibility. You should verify Altor's outputs against your own judgement and, where appropriate, qualified advisors, and you remain responsible for meeting your animal-welfare and regulatory obligations. GPS guidance is approximate and must not be relied on for safety-critical navigation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altor and its operator accept no liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from use of, or reliance on, the app or its outputs.
Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance. By creating an account or using Altor you agree to these Terms and the Disclaimer above. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service. Altor provides tools to plan and record pasture grazing for farm use. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features at any time.
3. Your account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use. Use Altor lawfully and only for your own farm operation. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data.
5. Your data. You retain ownership of the farm data you enter. We store and process it to provide the service. Handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. No warranty. Altor is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
7. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited as set out in the Disclaimer above.
8. Changes. We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Altor handles personal information, consistent with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. What we collect. Your account details (email address), the farm data you enter into the app (paddocks, covers, grazing records, mob and worker activity, issues and notes), and basic technical information needed to run and secure the service.
2. How we use it. To provide, operate, secure, and improve Altor, to give you access to your farm's data, and to support and communicate with you about the service.
3. Storage & security. Data is stored with our cloud backend provider and protected by access controls. We take reasonable steps to keep it safe, but no online service can be guaranteed fully secure.
4. Sharing. We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the app, with people you invite to your own farm, or where required by law.
5. Your rights. You may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact the app operator to do so.
6. Retention. We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it or the law requires otherwise.
7. Complaints. If you have a privacy concern, contact the app operator first. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
8. Changes. We may update this policy; continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
